Ay-Jays Cafe serves up a delightful fusion of breakfast and comfort food, making it the perfect spot to fuel your day or unwind with a relaxed meal. From their "Brekkie All Day Long" menu, don’t miss the mouthwatering Bacon & Eggs topped with perfectly baked golden eggs. For something a bit sweeter, the Pancakes served with rich syrups are heavenly, leaving you in a delightful maple dream with each fluffy bite. The Mega Brekky Wrap is another standout; a generous combination of eggs, bacon, and more, all wrapped up in a warm, soft tortilla—ideal for those on the go!

As soon as you step inside, you’ll be greeted by friendly staff who radiate genuine warmth. The cafe's decor is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind over a steaming Chai Latte or treat yourself to a rich Vanilla Thick Shake. Patrons rave about the atmosphere as much as they do about the food, with one customer noting how the staff's politeness only enhances the positive experience.

For lunch, dive into their burger selection with popular choices like the AyJays Burger or the indulgent Kara's Parmy Burger. Each burger comes packed with flavor and is sure to satisfy your midday cravings. A review from Peter McInerney highlights the meat lovers burger as one of the best he's ever had, showcasing not just the quality of the food, but also the dedicated preparation from the young, enthusiastic staff.

While the service speed has received some mixed feedback, with a note that it may take a bit longer during busy times, the overall consensus remains that the food quality is worthwhile. Local customer Andrew Steele found it to be everything one expects from a small-town cafe, complete with delicious greasy spoon favorites like a bacon and egg hash brown roll that will keep you coming back for more.

If you’re looking for a delightful summation of Cobar’s culinary offerings, Ay-Jays Cafe encapsulates just that—great food, a friendly vibe, and a perfect pit stop for any traveling gourmet. So, whether you're a local or just passing through, be sure to experience the undeniable charm and flavor of Ay-Jays!

Food was alright but speed could be improved. Took about 35 minutes to get lunch when we were the only ones sitting in the shop and we didn’t really order anything too complicated. Food was overall good and price a bit pricey. Big breakfast was really salty. Enjoyed the steak sandwich much more than the big breakfast. This was the only decent cafe we found in town.

Everything you could want out of a small town take away. The bacon and egg hash brown roll was delicious, the coffee warm and filling. Opening hours are great, folks are lovely. A must visit passing through town!

Lovely place to have brekkie. Staff are super friendly and very inviting. Vanilla thick shake lovely rich and creamy. Gluten free fried eggs and bacon sanga very nice hubby had the big brekkie and couldn't eat it all. No hash browns available so substituted for potato cake (scallop to nsw).

Eat here. The Big Breakfast was great, cappuccino was good and the staff were polite. The establishment was clean and had no Credit-card surcharge. Full marks, I'll be back.
